steel melt shops, continuous casters, and
rolling mills worldwide. Their sensors
are used for 1) Detection of hot or
cold products (presence) at specific
locations
for tracking throughout the plant; 2)
Temperature measurements even in furnaces
and through steam and in the presence of
scale and changing surface emissivity; 3)
Positioning of loops, edges on roller tables
or between stands (strip or bar) front and
back of plates/beams at crop shear; and 4)
Dimensional measurements.The company is
seeking a representative that is able to
visit instrumentation and electronics staff
in steel and aluminum plants to sell their
mill grade, non-contact sensors. This
person/company should also be technically
capable of supporting the products.
The ability to look after countries in the
Asia Pacific region beyond Australia would
be a bonus.
